The CYCLE Experience

HIGH SCHOOL SOPHOMORES!

Now YOU can experience CYCLE -

an amazing conference designed for Missouri's brightest and best young leaders! The 2019 contest is currently closed, but if you will be a sophomore in the 2019-2020 school year, be sure to check back in January 2020!

What is CYCLE?

CYCLE is a program that brings together some of Missouri’s best and brightest leaders. The focus is to provide students with a look inside of Missouri State Government, to enhance leadership skills and show you what electric cooperatives are all about. It’s an opportunity to make connections with high school students across Missouri, take exclusive tours, hear some top-notch speakers, participate in team building activities and enjoy some great entertainment. It’s truly a unique and exciting leadership experience. Be challenged, learn and have some fun along the way with CYCLE!

How do I participate?

Callaway Electric will award tuition to the CYCLE Conference to three top applicants within our electric service area. If you are a leader in your community and school who wants to learn more about Missouri State Government or wants to make a difference in your part of the world along with having the opportunity to connect with other youth leaders and attend a nationally recognized leadership program, then CYCLE is for you!

How are the winners chosen?

The contest is open to all high school sophomores living in or attending school within the Callaway Electric service area. (This includes Fulton, New Bloomfield, North and South Callaway Schools.) Completed applications must be submitted by eligible high school sophomores by March 8, 2019.

Applications will be reviewed by the Callaway Electric CYCLE Committee. The top three applicants will be selected based on their community service, scholastic achievements and leadership experience. They will be awarded tuition to the CYCLE Conference, held July 17-19 in Jefferson City at the Double Tree Hotel.
