The Cooperative's business park has potential to bring jobs to the area and a favorable electric load to the Cooperative's system.
In 2004, Callaway Electric Cooperative purchased land for relocating their facilities. Knowing that the amount was more than what was needed for the project, the Board studied their options and hired professional consultants to create a development plan for the property. It was concluded that the best use of the land for the community and the Cooperative's membership would be to develop a business park, reserving enough land for the Cooperative and dividing the remaining property into lots for industrial and commercial businesses. The park has the potential to bring jobs to the area and a favorable electric load to the Cooperative's system.
Centrally located 7 miles from Interstate 70, the Callaway Energy Centre business park offers excellent visibility and immediate access to Highway 54. Its location in the heart of Missouri and middle of the United States makes it ideal for servicing the midwestern states.
The park features city water, sewer, trash and police services. Electric service is provided by Callaway Electric Cooperative. It also offers access to broadband services via fiber technology.
The business park is owned by Callaway Electric Service Company, LLC (CESCO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Callaway Electric Cooperative. For more information contact the cooperative at 573-642-3326.
