Visit a power plant. Step inside a local substation. See a demo of several electric vehicles. This program includes as much hands on and interactive learning as we can pack into 2 full days. It's a FREE opportunity sponsored by your local electric cooperative that you won't want to miss. Watch the video below to learn more.
Course Credit
Teachers attending the course will participate in 15 hours of classroom training over a period of two consecutive days. Teachers who successfully complete the course will receive continuing education credit.
Educators in the middle and high school grade levels who have a background in science, math, agricultural science and building trades are ideal candidates for this course.
Interested teachers should contact Callaway Electric Cooperative to be considered for the course. Callaway Electric may send up to three (3) teachers to the course each year.
Additional Learning Opportunity
An optional hour of graduate course credit may be obtained by the teacher at a later date at their own expense. Information about the additional credit hour will be provided at the conclusion of the course.
